Dumb Laws Yeah, yeah, these sites are everywhere, but this one had an interesting law from Stafford, Virginia where I live. Did you know that it is legal for a man to beat his wife on the courthouse steps so long as it is before 8:00 pm. But, come 8:01 pm, BAM! Let’s get it on! (NOTE: I HATE ABUSIVE PEOPLE!!!! That was supposed to be funny. Probably isn’t. I hate the idea of a person beating someone else up, especially if it’s a man hitting on a woman. I know, I know, it’s sexist to give special treatment because it’s pretty much saying women are weaker, but it’s how I was raised. Besides, I’m a wuss and most women can kick my ass anyway.)
