NLS is reporting that Allen leads Webb 50-43 in the latest Rasmussen Poll. Webb’s being MIA following the Macaca Incident has led to his failure to capitalize after their last poll in mid-August put Allen up by only 5 points, 47-42.
Couple this with yesterday’s announcement of Democratic State Senator Benjamin Lambert’s endorsement of Allen and you’ve got yourself one great week for the Allen camp. Webb’s dismal showing in the Richmond area in the Democratic Primary certainly isn’t going to be helped by this.
