700pm - Upwards of 70% voter turnout in CT according to State Secretary Susan Bysiewicz.

705pm - CNN exit polls project that Ballot Measure #1 wins

715pm - With 9 princincts reporting, Allen is up 2,216 (60.04%) to 1,433 (38.82%)

722pm - With 23 pricincts reporting (just under 1%), Allen 7,538 (57.02%), Webb 5,552 (41.99%)

725pm - One precinct in Alexandria went for Webb 77%.

728pm - Now numbers are coming in. 1.96% reporting has Allen up 14,935 (51.72%) over Webb 13,624 (47.18%).

731pm - CNN has 3% of the precincts reporting with Allen up 50,943 (57%) to Webb’s 37,795 (43%).

732pm - VASBE site has the race practically TIED with 4.91% reporting, Allen 41806 (49.47%) to Webb 41,669 (49.31%)

737pm - SBE has Webb up 52-47 with 7.6% reporting.

740pm - CNN is reporting Allen up 57-43 while the SBE site is getting slammed and lagging a bit.

742pm - CNN has released their exit polling numbers for VA.

743pm - CNN is reporting Allen up 54-45 with 7% reporting. In other races, Kellam is up 51-49 with 3% reporting.

745pm - SBE, with 12.12% reporting, has Allen up 49.77 to 49.02.

748pm - CNN seems to be not reporting any NOVA numbers quite yet, so their 55-44 lead for Allen is very tenuous.

750pm - CNN is reporting that with 35% in, Webb is carrying Richmond 75-24.

751pm - And with 14.45% reporting, SBE has Webb ahead again, 50.73-48.08.

753pm - SBE - 16.78% reporting - Allen 50.54-48.33

757pm - SBE - 19.69% reporting - Allen 49.49-49.33

759pm - CNN’s getting more reasonable now. 18% reporting, Allen up 52-47%.

800pm - Webb now leads on CNN, 50-49 with 23% reporting.

802pm - With 27.55% reporting on SBE, Webb is up by less than 2,000 votes.

804pm - With 19.61% reporting, Drake is beating Kellam 50.36-49.46%

807pm - SBE - 30.05% reporting - Allen 49.56-49.20

810pm - The Marriage Amendment is up 57-42 with 27% reporting.

812pm - 37% reporting we have a TIE - 38 vote difference in Webb’s favor.

838pm - First GOP House loss of the night - CNN projects first Democratic pickup in Indiana 8th Congressional district with Brad Ellsworth beating incumbent John Hostettler.

840pm - With 81.22% reporting, Webb is up in Fairfax 58.80-40.14

845pm - CNN reports Alexandria with 56% reporting - Webb 71-28

846pm - CNN exit polling shows independents going for Webb 53-44

848pm - CNN is projecting NJ Senate remains Dem.

850pm - SBE - Drake is up 51.42-48.36 with 50.33% reporting

1018pm - CNN - 91% reporting - Allen 50% - 49% (with a 30000 lead, where are they getting these numbers?)

1022pm - SBE - 92.80% reporting - Allen 49.90% - 48.90% (21000 votes more or less)

1025pm - Richmond City results are showing Webb winning 26793 - 9484. 700 more Allen, 2300 more Webb than SBE is reporting, putting this around 19k.

1029pm - SBE - 93.21% reporting - Allen 49.83% - 48.97%

1033pm - CNN - 93% reporting - Allen 50% - 49% (about 32000 votes ahead, almost double what SBE is saying)

1037pm - SBE - 94.19% reporting - Allen 49.67% - 49.12% (within 12000 votes)

1045pm - SBE - 95.13% reporting - Allen 49.67% - 49.13% (still 12000 votes)

1047pm - CNN has TN going 52/47 for Corker with 70% reporting. And while they’ve called MD for Cardin, it’s tied with 34% reporting.

1055pm - My earlier evaluation on Richmond’s results was wrong, even the city site has precincts that haven’t reported yet. It could go bigger for Webb.

1100pm - CNN is reporting that Craig County has gone with Allen 59%. The SBE has not reflected this yet. It is only a 400 vote difference in Allen’s favor but with the way it’s looking every little bit will help.

1105pm - Webb is supposed to be addressing his supporters shortly.

1106pm - SBE - 96.28% reporting - Allen 49.67% - 49.12% (still around 12000 votes)

1108pm - Webb has taken the stage, thanks his supporters for being there this evening, this is a close race, I didn’t want to keep you all waiting, we’ve been watching this come in, “yeah, we’re gonna win”. “Where votes have yet to be counted it looks very good for our side.” Looking to 11th district and absentee ballots.
