Last time I checked, Bell was still a member of the VA Senate.
I read his post about Gilmore. He’s not “kicking him around”. He’s just saying Gilmore is not the right candidate. What’s wrong with that? You are comparing apples to oranges with the two posts.

Ralph Smith may be conservative, but he’s also not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Bell was both conservative and intelligent. He will be missed. I suspect many in the party will come to regret their decision to turn on Bell.
