Truncating was a real problem at a certain local credit card company I used to work at. We had sent a small business card solicitation to a jeweler. Sadly, the business name was truncated to read (insert gentleman’s name), Master Jew. While one may have assumed he was Jewish from his name I do not know whether he was. We issued an apology and a $10k check to avoid any further unpleasantness…..
