Where there is a will there is a way. Growing up we often ended up in places that the Cold War, Friendly & Not So Friendly Dictators, or religious extremists made unfriendly to be an American. Having multiple passports helped (thank you dept of state) as did knowing the right people. Remind me to tell you how the CIA smuggled me into a country without a visa once (nothing nefarious, I was 13 at the time). On the other hand Somalia is not, and hasn’t been, a good place to visit for some time. The last person I knew personally to visit was found in pieces outside Mogadishu….
