Rittinger asks a serious questions:
Does Notre Dame fire Charlie Weis after this weekend? if so, who do they hire?
Sigh. Charlie Weis was a good idea, but his execution has left a little to be desired. I wouldn’t be surprised either way, letting him go or keeping him, but I have no idea who you’d replace him with.

Have you seen Washington State lately?
All I know is that Notre Dame’s suckitude is killing my old man and depressing the hell out of all of the ND alums in my family. I am taking the family home to NY for Thanksgiving and the family gamewatch we had planned for Saturday Night against USC is taking on all the fun of attending a funeral.
The only reason there has not been a Jonestown-style mass suicide at the Rittinger Family Northern Command is that Ty Willie has turned out to be just as awful as we said he would be at Washington and the fact that Michigan is in even worse shape than Notre Dame.
As a BC grad, I wish I could enjoy this but it has become too sad for words.
Who gives a crap about Weiss…Michigan needs to tank Rodriguez. How quickly the mighty have fallen…for both schools.
Rodriguez is a great coach and everyone at Michigan knew this year would suck because we lost a ton of talent when Lloyd left. Lloyd also couldn’t recruit the last two years because everyone knew he was on his way out, so he left Rich Rod with a talentless team, and thats OK. RRod is getting the spread players he wants now and the team will get better.
The problem with Weiss is that he had two good seasons with Willingham’s recruits!! Now though, that his recruits are here they are turning out to be woefully inadequate. I don’t know what happened to Ty, obviously he has problems at Washington but that doesn’t change the fact the Weiss is an abject failure of a coach and is not worth one tenth of what he is getting paid, get rid of Weiss, you guys fired Willingham for much much less.
