NASA is now going to attempt to read your mind as you walk through an airport screener.
NASA wants to use “noninvasive neuro-electric sensors,” imbedded in gates, to collect tiny electric signals that all brains and hearts transmit. Computers would apply statistical algorithms to correlate physiologic patterns with computerized data on travel routines, criminal background and credit information from “hundreds to thousands of data sources,” NASA documents say.
Um… okay. Uh, isn’t this just like getting an MRI or something to that effect? And, well, maybe this thing will just go “hey, that brain’s nervous, GET IT!” and all those people who have a fear of flying will be in big trouble. I don’t know. Oh well. NASA barely has enough money to keep our space program running let alone start scanning our brains for evil thoughts.
Mmmmmmm… Asia Argento…
